Prerequisites
Remove the battery.
Remove the keyboard.
Remove the base cover.
Remove the Optical Drive.
Remove the palm rest.
Removing the Display Assembly:
Remove the display bezel.
Removing the Display Panel Brackets:
Remove the screws that secure the display panel to the display cover.
Carefully lift the display panel and turn it over.
Peel and lift the tape that secures the display cable to the display-board connector and then disconnect the display cable.
Peel the display cable from the back of the display panel.
Turn the display panel over and place it on a clean surface.
Remove the screws that secure the display-panel brackets to the display panel.
