Prerequisites
Follow the safety guidelines listed in the Safety instructions.
Power off the system and all attached peripherals.
Disconnect the system from the electrical outlet, and disconnect the peripherals.
If applicable, remove the system from the rack.
Remove the system cover.
Removing the front bezel:
Unlock the bezel.
Press the release button, and disengage the left end of the bezel.
Unhook the right end, and remove the bezel.
Removing the drive backplane cover:
Slide the backplane cover in the direction of the arrows marked on the backplane cover.
Lift the backplane cover from the system.
Removing the air shroud:
Hold the air shroud at both ends and lift the air shroud out of the system.
Disconnect the VGA cable from the VGA connector on the system board.
NOTE:Ensure that you note the routing of the cables as you remove them from the system board. Route the cable properly when you replace it to prevent the cable from being pinched or crimped
Removing the VGA module:
Using Phillips #1 screwdriver, remove the screw on the VGA module.
Slide the module out of the system.
Installing the VGA module:
Route the VGA cable through the VGA module slot on the front of the system and slide the VGA module into the slot.
Align the hole on the module with the screw hole on the system.
Using the Phillips #1 screwdriver, secure the VGA module to the system with the screw.
Route the VGA cable and connect it to the VGA connector on the system board.
Installing the air shroud:
Align the slot on the air shroud with the standoff on the chassis.
Lower the air shroud into the system until it is firmly seated.
Installing the drive backplane cover:
Align the backplane cover with the guide slots on the system.
Slide the backplane cover toward the front of the system until the backplane cover fits into place.
Installing the front bezel:
Align and insert the tabs on the bezel into the slots on the system.
Press the bezel until the release button clicks in place.
Lock the bezel.
Replace the system cover.
If applicable, install the system into the rack.
Reconnect the peripherals and connect the system to the electrical outlet, and then power on the system.
