How to replace Hard Drives and Carrier for PowerEdge 13G Rack

This video will demonstrate the replacement procedure of a Hard Drives and Carrier for the PowerEdge 13G Rack.

Removing hard drive blank
Press the release button and slide the hard drive blank out of the hard drive slot.

Removing a hard drive or a solid state drive from a hard drive carrier:
Remove the screws from the slide rails on the hard drive carrier.
Lift the hard drive out of the hard drive carrier.

Installing a hard drive or a solid state drive from a hard drive carrier:
Insert the hard drive into the hard drive carrier with the connector end of the hard drive toward the back of the carrier.
Align the screw holes on the hard drive with the screws holes on the hard drive carrier.
When aligned correctly, the back of the hard drive is flush with the back of the hard drive carrier.
Attach the screws to secure the hard drive to the hard drive carrier.

Installing hard drive blank:
Insert the hard drive blank into the hard drive slot until the release button clicks into place.
