NOTE: The power distribution board is present only in systems that support redundant power supplies.
Removing The Power Distribution Board:
If installed, remove the front bezel.
Turn off the system, including any attached peripherals, and disconnect the system from the electrical outlet and peripherals.
Open the system.
Remove the power supplies from the system.
Remove the PDB shroud.
Disconnect the power distribution cables from the system board.
Disconnect the fan cable.
Remove the two screws securing the power distribution board to the chassis and lift the board out of the chassis.
Installing The Power Distribution Board:
Align the power distribution board with the standoffs on the chassis.
Install the two screws that secure the power distribution board to the chassis.
Connect the power distribution cables to the system board and fan cable connector to the power distribution board.
Install the PDB shroud.
Close the system.
Reconnect the system to its electrical outlet and turn the system on, including any attached peripherals.
