To remove the fan shroud, remove the two screws securing the system's side cover to lift the cover off the system. Identify the fan shroud and unlatch it to remove it from the system.
To reinstall the fan shroud, relatch it to the system. Secure the system's side cover with the 2 screws. Please note, the system will only power on an exit service mode if the adapter is connected. For more information about your Dell system, visit Dell.com/support.
