How to Replace the Hard Drive 2.5 on OptiPlex 3090 Tower

This video will demonstrate the removal and reinstallation procedure of a hard drive 2.5 for OptiPlex 3090 Tower.

To remove the hard drive 2.5, loosen the two screws securing the side cover. Lift the cover off the system. Unlatch and remove the fan duct. Identify the hard drive assembly and disconnect the cables. Unlatch and remove the assembly from the system. Remove the 4 screws securing the hard drive to the assembly and lift the drive out of the system.

To reinstall the hard drive 2.5, place it back in the system and secure it to the assembly with the 4 screws. Place the assembly back in the system and relatch and connect the cables. Reconnect the fan duct and secure the side cover of the system with the 2 screws.
