To remove the hard drive, loosen the screw securing the side cover. Unlatch and lift the cover off the system. Identify the hard drive and disconnect the cables. Lift the drive out of the system and unlatch it. Flip the drive over and release the latch to fully disconnect it from the system.
To reinstall the hard drive, install the latch and flip the drive over. Re-latch the drive back to the system and reconnect the cables. Place the side cover on the system and re-latch it. Tighten the screw to secure it. For more information about your Dell system, visit: Dell.com/Support.
