How to Replace the Intrusion Switch on OptiPlex 3090

This video will demonstrate the removal and reinstallation procedure of an intrusion switch for OptiPlex 3090.

To remove the intrusion switch, loosen the two screws securing the side cover. Lift the cover off the system. Unlatch and remove the fan duct from the system. Identify the intrusion switch and disconnect the cable to remove the switch.

To reinstall the intrusion switch, reconnect the cable. Relatch and insert the fan duct. Tighten the screws to secure the side cover.
