To remove the memory modules, loosen the 8 screws on the base cover of the device. Pry the cover away from the recess points near the hinges, lift the cover up and away from the system. Identify and unplug the battery cable. Remove the 5 screws securing the 3-cell battery. Remove the battery and identify the memory modules. Unlatch the modules and lift them out of the system.
To reinstall the memory modules, put them back in place and relax them. Place the battery back in the computer and secure it with the screws. Plug in the battery cable. Put the base cover back on the system and secure it with the 8 screws.
