Before you begin, remove the palmrest and keyboard assembly and the right USB-C module. So first remove the screw securing the PC Beam cable. Flip the cable up by 90 degrees, and remove the interposer board.
Handle the PC Beam interposer with care by the edges and avoid touching the pins on the connectors. Then remove the screw, securing the IO board to the palm rest and keyboard assembly. And lift the board up to remove it.
To install the right IO board, align the IO board with the base cover. Replace the screw to secure it. Align and place the interposer board. Handle it with care, holding it by the edges.
