Before you begin, remove the palm-rest and keyboard assembly. First, remove the screws, securing the thermal shield. And lift the shield off. If you are removing an M.2 2230 SSD, remove the bracket. Lift and slide the SSD of the system.
To install the solid state drive. Align the notch on the SSD with the tab on the SSD slot. Then slide it into place. If you are installing an M.2 2230 SSD, place the bracket. Then place the thermal shield. And tighten it with the two screws. For more information or support visit: Dell.com/Support.
