In this video we show unboxing and setting up of ReadyRails. Open the box. Inside the box you'll find the Rack Installation Guide, some cable ties and then the right and left rails. If the rails came with the rail retention clips installed, you'll need to remove those before installing the rails.
To install the ReadyRails, first identify where on the rack you're going to place the rails. Then align the rear side of the ReadyRail with the rack post and lock it firmly in place. Ensure the blue latch is locked. Then install the front side of the ReadyRail, ensuring it is fully seated and the blue latch is locked. Repeat this for the other rail.
To install a system into the ReadyRails, slide out the inner member until it is fully extended. With help of another person, align the nuts on the system with the rail and tilt the system to insert the rear nuts first. Then lower the system. Press the system back to lock the nuts in place.
At this point, press the metal clip at the blue touch point to release the lock and slide the system all the way into the rack. For more information or support, visit: Dell.com/Support.
