Before you can change the connecting box, you need to reseat all modules on the front. First, remove all four front bezels of the modules. Now unfasten all 8 screws of the compute modules on the front of each module until the white levers can be moved. Pull the white levers down on both sides of the module to move the module a bit in your direction.
Now you need to release all 6 screws of the connecting box. Now use the black handle in the center of the connecting box. Pull it and carefully remove the connecting box out of the chassis. Before inserting a CPB board into the chassis, check each PCIE express connector and also the UPI connector for any damage. Also take care that you don't touch the metal frame with the connectors during insertion.
Before inserting the UPI connecting box into the chassis, check each port for any physical damage or bent pins. Insert the new UPI connecting box into the chassis. Fully fasten the 6 screws of the connecting box. The new connecting box will be delivered without WIO and PEB or PEBS modules. You need to take the original boards of the faulty box and reinsert them to the new connecting box.
Reinsert all 4 modules back into the compute box by pushing them in the direction of the server. Please note the position of your hands as demonstrated in this video to ensure that the white levers will not squeeze your fingers. Press the white lever to fully insert the module in its final position. Fasten all 8 screws on the front of each module. Reinsert the front bezel.
