How to use Windows 8 Troubleshooters to fix Common Issues

This video shows some native troubleshooting tools available as part of Windows 8 to find and fix software and configuration issues. Fix Sound, Network, Video and many other issues often with a click of a few buttons.
Windows 8 provides tools for troubleshooting common problems. These tools help identify and solve hardware, software or configuration issues in just a few clicks. To access the automatic troubleshooting tools, open the Settings charm. Select Control Panel. And then go to Troubleshooting.
Click View All on the left to see the entire list of troubleshooters available. Let's see how to troubleshoot sound issues. Click Playing Audio. Click Advanced. Make sure "Apply repairs automatically" is checked. Click Next to find and fix any problems. The troubleshooter will scan and attempt to resolve any issues found.
Click View detailed informatino to see the changes made. In this case, the troubleshooter found that the audio device was not detected by the system. It then installed the required driver, resolving the issue. Click Next. Close the troubleshooter if the issue has been resolved. In situations where a solution is not available, you may explore additional options, Such as Help and Support and Windows Communities.
Windows 8 troubleshooters are available for many topics including: Internet, printing, program compatibility, etc. Microsoft periodically adds new troubleshooters in Windows updates. Remember Windows 8 troubleshooters when you have a problem on your computer.
