This video will demonstrate gathering procedure of a Technical Support Report (TSR) from IDPA via iDRAC.
Welcome to Dell Technologies Integrated Data Protection Appliance (IDPA). How to gather a Technical Support Report (TSR) from IDPA appliance using the iDRAC interface, reference Dell Knowledge Article 126308. iDRAC9 SupportAssist utility can create a SupportAssist collection also known as Technical Support Report (TSR). iDRAC provides an application interface for gathering information that enables support services to resolve problems.
Open the iDRAC web interface and log in. In the iDRAC interface, click on the maintenance tab. Now, click on SupportAssist. Click on the button “Start a Collection.” Here you can select the data to collect. Select the Storage Logs. If the logs are being gathered for support please select the system information and debug logs as well.
Click the “Collect” button to start gathering the data. Once complete, you can click on the button “Save and View.” In the left pane, click on “Storage.” You can view the TSR log, which can be sent to support as needed. Reference the following for more information.
