This video shows how to replace the intrusion switch module on a PowerEdge T350. Before you begin, power off the system, and disconnect all the attached peripherals. To begin, first remove the system cover. To do this, rotate the lock on top of the system cover to unlock position. Lift the latch to disengage the cover from the system. Then lift the system cover off. Then by holding the air shroud, lift the air shroud out of the system. Now to remove intrusion switch module, first disconnect the cable from the system board and then slide the intrusion switch module out of the system slot.
To replace the intrusion switch module, align and slide the intrusion switch module into the slot on the system until it is firmly seated. Now connect the cable to the system board. Then replace the air shroud, by lowering the air shroud until it is firmly seated. Finally, replace the system cover. To do this, first place the cover into its position on the system.
