A12 BIOS added NFC setting, by A12 default NFC was disabled. Customer is allowed to enable/disable inside BIOS setup manual control.

Note for Previous BIOS A11 BIOS for the Venue 11 Pro 7130/7139 can be applied to any Venue 11 Pro 7130/7139, but it is important to note that the A11 BIOS enforces a BIOS flash downgrade policy that prevents flashing to any previous version of the BIOS once the A11 BIOS flash has been completed.
Technical Detail:
A11 BIOS enforces a BIOS flash downgrade policy that prevents flashing any A-rev BIOS prior to A11 to any Venue 11 Pro with Elpida memory, 8G Samsung LPDDR3 memory, or 8G Micron DDR3L-RS memory. Venue 11 Pro 7130/7139 systems may contain memory from different vendors (Micron, Hynix, Elpida, Samsung). Systems with memory from any of these vendors can be updated to A11 BIOS, but flashing to A10 or earlier will be prohibited based upon the restrictions above.

1. Click Download File to download the file.
2. When the File Download window appears, click Save to save the file to your hard drive.

Run the BIOS update utility from Windows environment
1. Browse to the location where you downloaded the file and double-click the new file.
2. Windows System will auto restart and update BIOS while system startup screen.
3. After BIOS update finished, system will auto reboot to take effect.
4. When update the BIOS version, NFC can not enable automatically, need to enable by manual control.

Note: Please make sure you suspend BitLocker encryption before updating BIOS on a BitLocker enabled system.
