- The SGX sealed data became inaccessible after BIOS 1.9.2 that the enclave may not allow access by older BIOS according to a security improvement. Hence, it is not recommended to downgrade the BIOS to older version in an Intel SGX-enabled system. And Intel Software Guard Extensions Data Center Attestation Primitives (Intel SGX DCAP) and Intel Software Guard Extensions Provisioning Certification Service (Intel SGX PCS) users need to update BIOS to 1.9.2 and newer version when verification collateral with Intel IAS-LIV enforcement server after January 17, 2023.
- The 5-level paging is enabled by disabling the CPU Physical Address Limit option from BIOS setup menu. The CPU Physical Address Limit option causes the operating system to stop at the driver verifier DMA violation test with a blue screen error while booting from an operating system that does not support 5-level paging such as, Microsoft Windows Server 2019, Microsoft Windows Server 2016 etc.
- While updating the BIOS from version 1.4.4 or from versions earlier than version 1.5.4 to a later version for the first time, the Correctable Error Logging (CEL) option is set to Disabled by default.

You can also load this executable directly from BIOS Boot Manager without a UEFI shell bootable media.
