This firmware updater can be executed on Windows OS (7/8.1/10, 32/64 bit)
For Win7, if you encounter error "missing api-ms-win-core-timezone-1-1.0.dll" while launching D6000/D6000S Updater, it means your host lacks KB2999226 windows update, you can download it from below link and the error shall be fixed:
1. Download the Firmware Updater to local drive. 2. Close all application before running the updater. 3. Remove all devices/monitors connected to D6000/D6000S and follow on screen instruction to perform FW update. 4. During FW update process a. Do not remove the AC adapter and USB connection of D6000/D6000S. b. Display may blink/blank for short period of time. 5. After FW updated, disconnect/reconnect AC adapter and USB connection of D6000/D6000S. 6. Restart is required to ensure system fully function.
