Format Description:
This file format consists of an archive of files that may be decompressed to a directory on the hard drive. The installation can then be done from that directory.
This release requires all V2.7-1 components; firmware, device driver, and management utilities. Version 2.7-1 firmware may not be compatible with previous version of firmware and/or management utilities.
This release introduces 32MB flash support for PE2650 and PV775N.
1. Click the "Download Now" link to download the file.

3. When the File Download window appears, click "Save" to save the file to your hard drive.
Extract Files
1. Browse to the location where you downloaded the file and double-click the new file to unzip the download package.
2. Specify the location to unzip the files.
3. Click on the unzip button to extract files.
Installation
NOTE: install/upgrade software in the following order:
a. Upgrade driver (this package)
b. Upgrade firmware
c. Upgrade management utility
NOTE: You must be logged on as Administrator to perform these steps:
1. Copy files extracted above to formatted floppy disk
2. From the desktop, right-click the My Computer icon.
3. Left-click Manage.
4. Click Device Manage.
5. Double-click SCSI and RAID Controller (A List of all currently installed SCSI drivers appears).
6. Double-click the appropriate RAID controller (such as PERC 2 Controller).
7. Select the Driver tab.
8. Select Update Driver. (The Update Device Driver Wizard appears).
9. Click Next.
10. Click Search for a suitable driver for my device (recommended)
NOTE: Selecting "Display a list of known drivers for this device so I can choose a specific driver" on PE2500, PE2550 and PE1650 systems will give you "Update driver warning".
11. Click Next. (The Upgrade Device Driver Wizard appears).
12. Insert the driver diskette created above.
13. Click Floppy disk drives
14. Click Next
15. Click OK on Upgrade Device Driver Wizard dialog box choosing to copy manufacturer's files from A:
16. Click Next.
17. Driver files will be copied.
18. Click Finish.
19. Click Close.
20. Shut down and reboot the system
