1. Click the Start button, point to Settings, and then click Control Panel. 2. In the Control Panel, double-click on System. 3. Click the Hardware tab and then click Device Manager. 4. Click View at the top of the screen, and then click Device by Type. Scroll down the list of installed devices and select Sound, video and game controllers. Click the (+) to the left of the selection. 5. Highlight and right-click NeoMagic MagicMedia 256+ AC97 Driver (WDM). On the drop-down menu, click Properties. 6. At the NeoMagic MagicMedia 256+ AC97 Audio Driver (WDM) Properties window, click the Drivers tab. 7. Click the Update Drivers button in the bottom right corner. 8. At the Update Device Driver Wizard window, click Next. 9. When NeoMagic MagicMedia 256+ AC97 Audio Driver (WDM) Properties appears on the screen, select Display a list of the known drivers for this device so that I can choose a specific driver , and click Next. 10. Click Have Disk... and click Next. 11. Click Browse and select the location where the files were extracted and click OK. ** By default the files are extracted to the C:\Dell\Drivers\N2WU folder.** 12. Highlight NeoMagic MagicMedia 256AV Audio Driver(WDM) and click Next. 13. An Update Driver Warning window may appear. Choose Yes to continue. 14. Choose Next to install the driver. The software will be installed for your device. 15. At the Completing the Upgrade Device Driver Wizard window, click Finish. 16. At the next screen, click Close. 17. When prompted to restart the system, click Yes.
