Dell OpenManage Management Pack for VMware Aria Operations enables you to monitor the health status and analyze the important metrics of the Dell PowerEdge servers and chassis that are managed by OpenManage Enterprise Integration for VMware vCenter (OMEVV). The OpenManage Management Pack (OMMP) adapter retrieves the data of the managed PowerEdge servers and its associated chassis from the configured OME where OMEVV is installed. The retrieved details are used to discover and monitor the PowerEdge servers and chassis in VMware Aria Operations environment

It ensures that the system software remains current and compatible with other system modules (firmware, BIOS, drivers, and software) and may include other new features.
To monitor the Dell PowerEdge servers and associated chassis in vROps/Aria Operations, make sure the devices are managed in OpenManage Enterprise Integration for VMware vCenter(OMEVV). OMEVV resides as plugin in OpenManage Enterprise(OME).
Fresh Install After downloading the self-extractable executable (.exe) file, extract it as follows: 1. Click on Dell_OpenManage_Integration_for_vAriaOps-3.0.xx.exe. WinZip Self-Extractor wizard is initiated. 2. In the wizard, click Browse and navigate to the location where the files must be extracted. 3. Click Unzip to start extracting. To install the Dell OpenManage Management Pack for VMware Aria Operations, perform the following steps: 1. Open VMware Aria Operations console as, https://IP or Hostname or FQDN 2. In the top pane of VMware Aria Operations, click Data Sources > Integrations > Repository. 3. Click on Add Solution. 4. To go to the location of the extracted PAK file, click Browse. 5. Select OpenManageEnterpriseAdapter3.0.xx.pak file. 6. Click Upload. Once the PAK file is uploaded, the Name, Description, and the version of the OMMP is displayed. 7. Click Next to continue. The Dell End User License Agreement (EULA) is displayed. 8. Select the I accept the terms of this agreement check box after reading the agreement and click Next. Installation of the OpenManage Management pack is initiated.
