Dell OpenManage Enterprise Integration for Microsoft System Center Virtual Machine Manager and Microsoft Configuration Manager (OMEMSSC), also known as the VMM and Configuration Manager, is a plugin to Dell OpenManage Enterprise that enables integration for the Microsoft System Center suite of products - Microsoft Configuration Manager (MCM) and Virtual Machine Manager (VMM). VMM and Configuration Manager plugin enables full-lifecycle management using Dell OpenManage Enterprise, offers operating system deployment on the Dell PowerEdge servers with OME Advanced+ license and Cluster-Aware Updating of firmware and drivers on the SCVMM-managed cluster nodes. Integrate Dell OpenManage Enterprise with Microsoft Configuration Manager (MCM) for managing the Dell PowerEdge servers in traditional data center. Integrate Dell OpenManage Enterprise with Microsoft System Center Virtual Machine Manager (SCVMM) for managing the Dell PowerEdge servers in virtual environments. To install the VMM and Configuration Manager plugin: Dell OpenManage Enterprise administrators can install the VMM and Configuration Manager (OMEMSSC) plugin from the Dell OpenManage Enterprise > Application Settings > Console and Plugins page. To install the OMEMSSC plugin from the Console and Plugins page: 1. In the Plugins section, go to VMM and Configuration Manager and click Install. The Install and update multiple plugins wizard are displayed. 2. Select the VMM and Configuration Manager plug-in and click Next. 3. In Download option, wait for the download to complete if it is not downloaded before. After the plug-in is downloaded, click Next 4. In Review license agreements option, click End User License Agreement to review the EULA, click Accept and click Next. 5. In Review and confirm action option, the following details are displayed in the confirmation window: -Logged in users to Dell OpenManage Enterprise -In Progress jobs -The scheduled jobs 6. Select the I agree that I have captured a snapshot of the Dell OpenManage Enterprise appliance prior to performing a plugin action. option to confirm and click Finish.
