Note:
Before updating this firmware, ensure that you back up the data in the system and close all open applications. It is also recommended to connect the power cable when it is not a desktop and disconnect all external storage devices.

Firmware upgrade through the Windows utility

Download
1. Click Download File.
2. When download is complete, run SKHynix_PC400_40002E00_4PFN7_ZPE.exe to extract this file.
3. Select Continue and take note of the extract location.

Upgrade Procedure
1. Close all open applications and save your work before the firmware update process.
2. Go to the location where you have downloaded the package.
3. Right-click the file that is named SKHynix_PC400_40002E00_4PFN7 and select Run as administrator to run the firmware update utility with administrator privilege.
4. A window is displayed where you can select the solid-state drive (SSD) to be updated.
5. Select your drive from the list.
6. Click Update Firmware.
Do not interrupt the firmware update. A dialog box is displayed when the firmware update is complete.
7. Click Yes to reboot your system.
If you select No, there will be a value displayed under Pending Slot until next reboot.

New firmware is applied when you power on the system. To confirm whether the firmware update was successful, repeat the upgrade procedure steps from 1 to 3. Current version of the firmware is displayed under Firmware Version.
