- There is change in the embedded or integrated network device name of the server after updating the BIOS from version 2.0.3 to 2.1.6 or later in servers using the AMD EPYC 7003 processors in a Linux environment. After updating the BIOS version, Dell recommends you to reenable the server network device and keep the IP address as-is.
- The system BIOS supports CPLD firmware 1.1.15 update starting from BIOS version 2.7.3 and later release. Before upgrading the CPLD firmware version to 1.1.5, ensure that the iDRAC version is upgraded to 5.10.30.0 or later. The BIOS version 2.7.3 or later support upgrade to CPLD 1.1.15. However, before upgrading the CPLD version, ensure that the iDRAC version is 5.10.30.00 and later.
