- On servers that use the AMD EPYC 7003 processors in Linux environment, the embedded or integrated network device name of the server is changed after updating BIOS from 2.0.3 to 2.1.6 or later. After updating the BIOS version, Dell recommends you to reenable the server network device and keep the IP address as-is.
- The system BIOS could support the CPLD firmware 1.1.15 update starting from BIOS version 2.7.3 and later release. Please also check the system iDRAC version is incorporated with 5.10.30.00 or above for the CPLD firmware 1.1.15 update. The BIOS 2.7.3 and later versions support upgrading to CPLD 1.1.15. However, before upgrading the CPLD version, ensure that the iDRAC version is 5.10.30.00 and later.
