- BIOS v2.3.5 optimizes the naming of certain PCIe cards (e.g., some NIC, channel card) to display partition number. Due to the naming change, it's expected to observe one-time PR7/PR8 message in LC log on system containing these PCIe cards, after updating BIOS to this version. (Note: PR7 - New device detected / PR8 - Device not detected)
- Please use DUP file to update BIOS in OS or iDRAC GUI if Intel Xeon CPU Max Series is installed on the system. The BIOS update cannot be performed using .efi utility due to a CPU limitation.
