This firmware package supports QLogic FastLinQ BCM57xx, 578xx adapters along with 45xxx series of adapters. Firmware version for QLogic FastLinQ BCM 57xx and 578xx adapters will also be upgraded to 8.x version when using this DUP. This firmware version change from 7.x is to support QLogic 45xxx in the firmware DUP package and does not impact any existing functionality of 57xx/578xx adapters.
