This package contains the firmware update for the Dell Wired Dock WD15 and Docking Monitor Stand DS1000. This update improves the firmware update stability of the Multi Stream Transport (MST) hub. It is recommended that you install the latest BIOS version before installing this firmware.

Note: Do not disconnect the power adapter until the process of firmware update has been completed.
Download 1. Click Download File to download the file. 2. When the File Download window is displayed, click Save to save the file to your hard drive.
Installation 1. Browse to the location where you downloaded the file and double-click the new file. 2. Read the information in the dialog window. 3. Download and install any prerequisites that are identified in the dialog window before proceeding. 4. Click the Install button. 5. Follow the remaining prompts to perform the update.
Post Installation 1. Power cycle the docking station after the firmware update is completed on Dell TB16, TB18, and WD15 docking stations. 2. Remove the docking station cable from the system. 3. Unplug the AC power adapter from the docking station. 4. Press and hold the power button for 30 seconds to drain any remaining power. 5. Plug in the AC power adapter to the docking station before connecting the system.
