Dell Technologies recommends applying this update during your next scheduled update cycle. The update contains changes to maintain overall system health. It ensures that the system software remains current and compatible with other system modules (firmware, BIOS, drivers, and software) and may include other new features.
Due to potential changes in printer default setting when uploading to a new level of code, Dell does not recommend customers attempt to reinstall older /previous levels of code after an upgrade is performed.
Note: Do not turn off your printer or computer, or disconnect any cables during this operation. Doing this will corrupt the printer memory and the printer will be permanently damaged.
