Installation instructions
Download file to Desktop
The XPS_9370_XXX.exe file uses the Universal (Windows/DOS) format. It is designed to run on Windows environment.
1. Click Download. The File Download window is displayed.
2. Click Save. The Save As window is displayed.
3. From the drop-down menu which is located next to Save in option, select Desktop.
4. Click Save. The progress bar displays the download status.
Note: You can close the window if needed
5. The file is downloaded.
Note: Ensure you close other applications before running the BIOS update utility. A restart is required for the changes to get effected.

To run the BIOS update utility from Windows environment, do the following:
1. Double click the 9370_BIOS_Rev_XXX.exe file. The Dell BIOS flash window is displayed.
2. Click Continue.
3. Click OK to close all the applications, shutdown the Windows, flash the BIOS and then restart the system.
To run the BIOS update utility from DOS environment (Non-Windows users), do the following:
NOTE: You must use a bootable DOS USB drive. This executable file does not create the DOS system files.
To create the DOS system files, do the following:
1. Copy the XPS_9370_XXX.exe file to a bootable DOS USB key.
2. Boot to DOS prompt.
3. Run the file by typing Y:\ XPS_9370_XXX.exe file name where the executable is located.

Note: Ensure you suspend the BitLocker encryption before updating the BIOS on a BitLocker enabled system. You can ignore, if you do not enable the BitLocker on your system.
