Fixes & Enhancements

Fixes
- Resolved link issue when NIC Partitioning (NPAR) is used with certain DCB QoS configurations for Intel(R) X710/XL710 adapters.
- Resolved issue of activity LED blinking instead of the link LED when used for port identification on Intel(R) X710 devices.
- Fixed issue with driver settings on Intel(R) X550 devices that allowed the user to load more virtual functions than the value that is set on "Max VFs advertised per PF"
- Fixed a gigabit connection issue on Intel(R) Ethernet 10G X710-k bNDCs when connected to IO Modules inside Dell PowerEdge M1000e blade enclosure.
- Resolved issue with driver installer to ensure 'DCB Service for iSCSI' option is not always enabled.
- Resolved issue with Windows DCB incorrectly showing the 'operational configuration' instead of 'local configuration' when 'DCBx' is set to 'Not Willing' mode until a PF reset is done or the interface is disabled and re-enabled.

Enhancements
- Added Universal Windows drivers for Microsoft* Windows* 10
- The device properties has "Link Speed" tab that shows an "Amber" light instead of "Green" light when the device has link at less than maximum speed.
- The Windows 2016 driver now supports maximum 'EncapOverhead' value of 480 bytes, per updated Microsoft documentation.
- When device properties related to Hyper-V and VNIC are updated, warning messages related to network configuration changes are now added to event log to inform other users.
- The driver now includes support for Windows 10 UWD (Universal Windows Driver) format that allows drivers to run on any version of Windows (Desktop, tablets).
- When NIC Partitioning is enabled on Intel(R) X710/XL710 adapters, the driver now reports Ethernet link speed so that it's based on the actual link speed instead of being based on the maximum TX bandwidth setting.
- Added support for Intel(R) Ethernet 25G 2P XXV710 Mezz

Known Issues
- The 'jumbo packet' option is not supported on Windows 2012 R2 and 2016 on Intel(R) X710/XL710/XXV710 devices. If the 'jumbo packet' option is needed, it is available with Intel NIC Family Version 18.3.0 Drivers for Windows 64-bit Operating Systems.
- Creating VLAN with IEEE 802.3ad teaming on Microsoft Windows 2012 R2 using Intel(R) PROSet software with Intel(R) 25G XXV710 adapters is not supported
- With NPAR enabled on Intel(R) X710/XXV710 devices, all partitions will lose the connection for 2-3 seconds while the root partition (the 1st partition of the physical port) is getting initialized.
- The QoS performance for iSCSI targets will not match the QoS policy after the iSCSI QoS filter is created in Windows 2012 and 2016 on Intel(R) X710/XL710/XXV710 devices when NPAR is enabled.
Workaround: Restart IntelDCB and iSCSIDCB Services or reboot the system
- When Microsoft Hot Fix KB2883200 is not installed on Windows Server 2012 R2, an inaccurately worded error message appears if the "Intel(R) Ethernet Setup Driver for FCoE" was installed in the operating system prior to running the "Dell EMC Update Package to install Intel NIC Drivers on Windows 64-bit Operating Systems". The error message says "An adapter is either configured to boot from an FCoE drive or a paging file is located on an FCoE drive" even when no adapters are configured to connect to an FCoE drive.
Workaround: Please install Microsoft Hot Fix KB2883200 and run the Dell EMC Update Package again.
- Microsoft LBFO teaming may fail to start with one or more team's NIC member(s) in "Faulted: Not found" state after a system reboot on Microsoft* Windows* Server 2012 R2 when the FCoE driver is installed from Intel NIC Family Version driver package 18.0.0 or newer.
Workaround: Disable and enable the faulting NIC team member(s) from "Network Connections".
- The driver link setting for Intel(R) 25GbE XXV710 Mezz adapter should be limited to auto negotiation but other link speeds are available for being set.
Workaround: Only use auto negotiation on the Intel(R) 25GbE XXV710 Mezz adapter.
