Fixes & Enhancements
Fixes an issue where the controller intermittently does not get detected when booting to the OS in UEFI mode.
Important Information
- When installing an OS, be sure to select a Boot Device in CTRL+C. In CTRL+C, under SAS Topology, scroll down to the desired Physical Disk or Virtual Disk and enter ALT+B to select the device as your Boot Device.
- Resynch, Background Init and Consistency Check processes will always occur serially.
- When viewing SATA physical disk properties from Ctrl-C or other management applications, Vendor Identification must be translated as "ATA" followed by blanks. Please see SATA translation specification, revision 5, pages 24-25 for more details.
- When adding a PERC H200 controller to a system, either by physically adding an adapter or by enabling the integrated SAS controller in the system BIOS, the new controller may need to be added to the controller boot order in the PERC H200 BIOS configuration Utility.

Download
1. Click the Download Now link to download the file.
2. When the File Download window appears, click Save to save the file to your hard drive.
Installation
1. Read over the release information presented by executing the ./SAS-RAID_Firmware_8TPD2_LN_07.03.06.00_A09.BIN--version command from the shell.
2. Download and install any prerequisites identified in the above step before proceeding.
3. Run the update by executing ./SAS-RAID_Firmware_8TPD2_LN_07.03.06.00_A09.BIN from the shell.
4. Follow the remaining prompts to perform the update.

Instructions for FW_H200A_07.03.06.00_A09.txt:
1) Click Download now.
The File Download window appears.
2) Click the Save button.
The Save As window appears.
3) Select Desktop using the drop-down menu to the right of Save in.
4) Click the Save button.
A progress meter moves as the download is completed.
5) If necessary, click X in the upper right-hand corner of the Download Progress Window to close it upon completion.
6) Double click the Icon on your desktop for the newly saved file.
The Dell Bios Release Notes window appears.

Download
1. Click the "Download Now" link to download the file.
2. When the "File Download" window appears, click "Save" to savethe file to your hard drive.
Installation
1. Import the Dell public key. (You only need to do once on your system.)
2. Verify the Dell Update Package by using its signature file, SAS-RAID_Firmware_8TPD2_LN_07.03.06.00_A09.BIN.sign
Instructions for H200A_A09_ZPE.exe:
Download
1. Click the Download Now link to download the file.
2. When the File Download window appears, click Save to save the file to your hard drive.
Extract Files
1. Browse to the location where you downloaded the file and double-click the new file to unzip the download package
2. Click Continue.
3. Specify the location to unzip the files.
4. Click on the OK button to extract files.
After the files are extracted the message all files were successfully unzipped will appear.
5. Click the OK button to exit from the installer.
Installation
1. Copy extracted files to bootable media.
2. Reboot system to bootable media.
3. Execute the batch file called flash.bat
4. After flash is complete, remove bootable media.
5. Reboot system for changes to take effect.
