Custom Instructions for R123008.EXE: Usage: EXTCD.SYS is a DOS device driver for IDE/USB/1394 optical drives. To use, add the following entry to CONFIG.SYS: DEVICE=EXTCD.SYS /D:EXTCD001 Note: this driver is not intended to be used in combination with other IDE, USB, or 1394 drivers. Doing so, may disable the EXTCD.SYS driver, or result in a conflict with other drivers. Also, note that this driver only supports the first IDE/USB/1394 optical drive that it finds and subsequent drives are ignored.
Warning: Do not turn off your computer or disconnect from your power source while updating the BIOS or you may harm your computer. During the update, your computer will restart and you will briefly see a black screen.
