Fixed cross-site scripting vulnerability (CVE-2017-14386). The web user interface of Dell's 2355dn, Multifunction Laser Printer firmware versions prior to A10 is affected by a cross-site scripting vulnerability. Attackers could potentially exploit this vulnerability to execute arbitrary HTML or JavaScript code in the user's browser session in the context of the affected website.

Installation instructions
"Note: Do not shut down the computer or printer while performing the firmware update.

1. Run ""Dell Printer Update Tool.exe"".
2. Verify the printer model and click [Next]
3. Select the I/O connection type and click [Next]
4. If the printer is on a Network connection, then enter the IP Address and click [Next]
5. Monitor and wait for the firmware update to complete
6. Click [Finish] to close the tool."
Important Information
Do not shut down the PC or your printer while the firmware is being installed.
Warning: Do not turn off your computer or disconnect from your power source while updating the BIOS or you may harm your computer. During the update, your computer will restart and you will briefly see a black screen.
