Dell Repository Manager is an application that allows you to create customized bundles and repositories on systems running the Microsoft Windows operating system and Linux operating system. The customized bundles and repositories are made up of Dell Update Packages (DUPs) based on certain specified criteria. DUPs are software utilities provided by Dell to update specific software components on Dell PowerEdge systems. Using Repository Manager ensures that your Dell PowerEdge system is equipped with the latest BIOS, driver, firmware and software updates.

This release of Dell EMC Repository Manager (DRM) supports the following new features:
- Run OM Essentials and DRM from the same system.
- Support to create a new folder and view recently accessed locations when building a deployment tool.
- Support to delete multiple versions of a repository at a time.
- Enhancements in delete components.
- Support to choose DUP format while creating an inventory repository or integration repository.

Installation instructions
1. Click Download Now link to download the .EXE or .BIN file.
2. The File Download window is displayed, click Save to save the file to the hard drive.
3. Browse to the folder where the files are saved.
4. Provide executable permission for the file in Linux.
5. Double-click the file and follow the instructions in both windows and Linux.

1. Upgrade from DRM 2.0 is not supported in DRM 3.0 and higher.
2. The existing configuration and repositories can be migrated from existing DRM installation on windows.
3. Use the installation wizard page for migration to choose the option of repository, settings or both to migrate the existing data.
4. Make sure to close any running DRM instance on the machine before choosing migration option.
Warning: Do not turn off your computer or disconnect from your power source while updating the BIOS or you may harm your computer. During the update, your computer will restart and you will briefly see a black screen.
