Data required for troubleshooting the issue is automatically collected by SupportAssist Enterprise and sent securely to Dell Technical Support. The collected data helps Dell Technical Support to provide you an enhanced, personalized, and efficient support experience. SupportAssist Enterprise capability also includes a proactive response from Dell Technical Support to help you resolve the issue.

Fixes & Enhancements

Dell EMC SupportAssist Enterprise 1.2.1 contains fix for an undocumented default account vulnerability present in Windows OS management server version of SupportAssist Enterprise v1.1 and present in upgrade from v1.1 to v1.2.
SupportAssist Enterprise (SAE) prior version 1.1 creates a local windows user account named OMEAdapterUser with a default password as part of the installation process.
Note: If SAE prior version 1.1 or upgrade from v1.1 to v1.2 is installed on a server running OpenManage Essentials (OME), the OmeAdapterUser user account is added as a member of the OmeAdministrators group for the OME.
Dell EMC recommends customers upgrade to v1.2.1 immediately.
