現象

IDPAバージョン2.7.4へのアップグレードは、「ハイパーバイザーとサーバー ファームウェア」ワークフローでサブコンポーネントの進行状況が56%(または全体の約82%)で失敗することがあります。[ワークフロー]パネルで、「アップグレード パッケージのインストールに失敗しました」というエラーが報告されることがあります。

原因

互換性のないバージョンのiDRACツール ソフトウェア パッケージがESXiホストにインストールされています。iDRACツール ソフトウェア パッケージは、iDRAC帯域外管理プラットフォームを管理するための拡張機能を提供するオプションのソフトウェア コンポーネントです。

解決方法

1.「root」ユーザー
としてESXiホスト(ハイパーバイザー)へのSSH/PuTTYセッションを開きます。 2.iDRACツール ソフトウェア パッケージ(racadm)がインストールされていることを確認します

[root@dp4400-esx:~] esxcli software vib list | grep racadm
racadm                             9.4.0.ESXi670-3749                    DEL      PartnerSupported  2021-03-30


3.iDRACツール ソフトウェア パッケージの削除

[root@backup-esx:~] esxcli software vib remove -n racadm

iDRACツール9.4.0以前のバージョンはサポートされておらず、VMware ESXi 7.0へのインストールまたはアップグレードは許可されません。
