- Click Inventory in the navigation bar, and then select Switches from the drop-down list.
- Locate the switch, click the down arrow to the right of the Switch, and select View in Web Tools from the action menu.
- Provide the switch login credentials, if prompted.
- For switches running Fabric OS 9.0.0 or later, if SANnav is configured with single sign-on (SSO), Web Tools launches directly, and you do not require login credentials. If SANnav is configured without SSO, or for switches running versions earlier than Fabric OS 9.0.0, you must provide login credentials for the switch.
NOTE:
- If SANnav is configured with SSO to use your SANnav credentials (not the switch credentials) to launch Web Tools, and if the credentials are managed by LDAP, then SSO does not work. The LDAP passwords are not saved in the SANnav database.
- Web Tools launches in a separate browser tab. For switches running Fabric OS 9.0.0 or later, if you launch Web Tools from SANnav and then log out of SANnav or close the SANnav browser tab, you are automatically logged out of Web Tools.
