Resumen: Using SCU (Single Component Upgrade) to modify an ESXi software bundle using an ISO file causes the RCM/IC to get stuck in a synchronizing state.

Impact

RCM/IC will never finish synchronizing.

Causa

Due to a missing failure handling mechanism, in the SCU code, for incorrect ESXi software bundle being used for modification, the synchronizing will never finish succesfuly.

Resolución

 Upload the same RCM/IC again and modify with the correct bundle.
