Symptoms

VxRail has dialed home with an event code MYSTIC010009/VXR010009 License Inventory monitoring.

 

Cause

The number of hosts or licensed features has exceeded the limits of the license installed on vCenter Server.

 

Resolution

Perform the below steps:

  1. Log in to the vSphere web client
  2. Check if licenses have expired in the Summary tab
  3. Obtain a license for an appropriate number of hosts or required features and install it on vCenter Server.
  4. Validate the number of CPUs you have in your system match the number of CPUs allowed by the licenses in your inventory.
