Symptoms
NetWorker Module for SAP (NMSAP) HANA database backups fail with the following error:
[447] backup could not completed, extended storage backup error: [SAP][ODBC driver] error during backup/restore: failed to open pipe /usr/sap/SID/SYS/global/hdb/backing/<prefix>_databackup_1024_1_nnnnnnnn
Cause
The NetWorker Module for SAP is not installed on the node.
Resolution
