Symptoms
Prima aggiunta di VPLEX ad AppSync.
L'aggiunta di una configurazione locale VPLEX in AppSync ha esito negativo con il seguente errore:
AppSync segnala quindi che la connettività di rete tra i due server di gestione del cluster VPLEX Metro non funziona.
Questo messaggio è fuorviante perché si tratta di una configurazione locale VPLEX. Esiste un solo server di gestione.

L'aggiunta di una configurazione locale VPLEX in AppSync ha esito negativo con il seguente errore:
Errore 500: La connettività di rete tra i due server di gestione del cluster di VPLEX metro <IP ADDRESS> non funziona. Verificare lo stato di connettività tra i server di gestione di entrambi i cluster.
Nei registri del server AppSync, una chiamata REST "cluster-connectivity" restituisce una risposta null.
AppSync segnala quindi che la connettività di rete tra i due server di gestione del cluster VPLEX Metro non funziona.
Questo messaggio è fuorviante perché si tratta di una configurazione locale VPLEX. Esiste un solo server di gestione.

Cause
AppSync genera una richiesta REST di connettività del cluster. Questa richiesta REST non è applicabile per una configurazione VPLEX locale.
Resolution
RISOLUZIONE PROVVISORIA:
AppSync Engineering ha fornito un hotfix per AppSync 3.1.
Per ottenere questo hotfix, contattare l'assistenza clienti EMC e aprire una Service Request, facendo riferimento all'ID di questo articolo.
