It is assumed there are no servers currently using the network/VLAN being removed.

  1. From the PowerFlex Manager UI, remove (do not 'DELETE') any services/resource groups that reference the network/VLAN in question.
  2. From the PowerFlex Manager UI, edit any existing templates to remove any references to the network/VLAN in question.
  3. From the PowerFlex Manager UI, delete the network/VLAN.
  4. Remove the VLAN configuration from the relevant upstream network switches following the switch vendor's best practices.
  5. Remove the corresponding port-group from vCenter DVswitch if applicable.
  6. From the PowerFlex Manager UI, run inventory against all relevant resources.
  7. From the PowerFlex Manager UI, add the services/resource groups removed in step 1 back into PowerFlex Manager.
