Avamar: How to uninstall ADMe
Summary: The following procedure can be followed to remove Avamar Data Migration enabler (ADMe)-related files and references from an Avamar Utility Node.

Instructions
Log in as root user-ID:
1. adme -backup (save the backup file to a safe location for possible future reference) 2. rm -r /home/admin/admeadmin 3. rm /usr/local/avamar/bin/adme 4. Edit /etc/motd to remove all references to the presence of ADMe 5. Edit root crontab crontab -e (remove any references to ADMe)
If NetWorker agents are installed on the Avamar Utility Node:
- service networker stop (stop the Networker service if started) - rpm -qa | grep lgt (list the full module names) - rpm -e <each-module-name>
