Symptoms

OpenSSL version 1.0.2 is detected on vProxy appliance, which is an end of life version (EOSL). 
EOSL version detected using Flexera tool on vProxy 4.3.0-x (or older).
 

Cause

OpenSSL 1.0.2p-fips is the default OpenSSL version for SUSE 12SP5.
The OpenSSL package on the vProxy appliance cannot be upgraded outside of vProxy upgrade workflow.

Resolution

This requires the vProxy solution to upgrade its underlying operating system from SUSE 12 SP5 to SUSE 15. 
Upgrade the vProxy appliance to the latest release: NVP vProxy: How To Upgrade the NVP vProxy Appliance using nsrvproxy_mgmt

vProxy 4.4.0.x migrated from SLES 12 SP5 to SLES 15 SP4. The 4.4.0.x vProxy releases use OpenSSL 1.1.1l-fips

NOTE: Openssl 1.1.1 will continue to be supported until the End of Life of the SLES 12 and SLES 15 product line including the LTSS phase.
