ViPR SRM 4.1.1 Isilon Solution Pack Logs Flood with SEVERE Messages

Symptoms

The Isilon Solution Pack logs show a large number of SEVERE messages.

WARNING  -- [2018-07-20 13:31:33 CDT] -- HttpRequestGroup::handleResponse(): Unable to connect to host xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx (404) for request https://@{host}:8080/platform/3/cluster/nodes in requets group ISILON2-NODE-PROP. Server returned the following message: Not Found
SEVERE   -- [2018-07-20 13:31:33 CDT] -- HttpRequestRetriever::execute(): Unable to retrieve stream on any configured request group!
SEVERE   -- [2018-07-20 13:31:33 CDT] -- AbstractJobExecutor::executeJobRunner(): Error while executing job ISILON2-CLUSTER-CAPACITY -> HttpRequestRetriever removing it from the queue

Cause

Isilon OS 7.x does not have the nodes and cloud pools endpoints under platform/3/.
When you enter the URL "https://Isilon_IP:8080/platform/3/cluster/nodes" or "https://@{host}:8080/platform/3/cloud/pools" in the browser, the following result appears:

"code" : "AEC_NOT_FOUND",
"message" : "path not found"

 

Resolution

This error can be safely ignored. The "https://@{host}:8080/platform/3/cluster/nodes" and "https://@{host}:8080/platform/3/cloud/pools" endpoints are only available on Isilon OS 8.x.
