Symptoms
Attempting to discover multiple RMAN schemas with a CSV file.
Cause
It is possible to discover multiple RMAN control files with a CSV file in DPA, however it is not currently possible to discover multiple RMAN Recovery Catalogs with a CSV file they need to be discover individually.
Resolution
To discovery a RMAN control file with a CSV file it will need to be formatted in the following fashion:
Below is the list of field in the CSV file:
Object_Type, Object_Name, IP_Address, Time_Zone, Platform, Credential_Name, SSH_Credential_Name, SSH_PCR_Credential_Name, Agent_Name, App_Type, App_Name, App_Port, App_Credential_Name, App_Additional_Credential_Name
Below is the fields need for discovering the Oracle DB and RMAN control file monitoring:
Host,RMAN server name,,,OS or server,,,,Agent server name,OracleApplication, service name,1521,ora_credential,rman_credential
If you only want RMAN monitoring then remove the App_Credential_name.
Below is the list of field in the CSV file:
