Symptoms

ユーザーが次のコマンドを実行しようとしても、サービスが開始されません。

service-control --start --all

service-control --start vmware-updatemgr

vmware-updatemgr

Cause

vmware-updatemgr 古いvCenterマシンのSSL証明書情報がまだ含まれていたため、不一致の問題が発生していました。

Resolution

  1. vumログを確認します。 /var/log/vmware/vmware-updatemgr/vum-server/vmware-vum-server.log
  2. ログに次のエラー メッセージが表示されていることを確認します。

  3. VMwareの記事「VMware vCenter Update Managerサービスが有効になっている場合、vCenter Server証明書の置換が失敗する(2150895)」に従って証明書情報をアップデートします このハイパーリンクをクリックすると、デル・テクノロジーズ以外のWebサイトにアクセスします。、証明書を更新する前にvCenterスナップショットを作成します。 
  4. vCenter 7.0.x以降の場合:
    cd /usr/lib/vmware-updatemgr/bin/ 
    pythonスクリプトを実行します。
  5. refreshCerts-utility.pyPython スクリプトの更新を示すスクリーンショット
  6. Start vmware-updatemgr サービスを起動します。 
# service-control --start vmware-updatemgr
