Symptoms

사용자가 다음 명령을 실행하려고 하면 서비스가 시작되지 않습니다.

service-control --start --all

service-control --start vmware-updatemgr

vmware-updatemgr

Cause

vmware-updatemgr 불일치 문제를 일으킨 오래된 vCenter 머신 SSL 인증서 정보가 여전히 포함되어 있습니다.

Resolution

  1. vum 로그를 검토합니다. /var/log/vmware/vmware-updatemgr/vum-server/vmware-vum-server.log
  2. 로그에 다음 오류 메시지가 표시되는지 확인합니다.

  3. VMware 문서 VMware vCenter Update Manager 서비스가 활성화될 때 vCenter Server 인증서 교체가 실패함(2150895)이 하이퍼링크는 Dell Technologies 외부의 웹사이트로 연결됩니다.에 따라 인증서 정보를 업데이트하고 인증서를 업데이트하기 전에 vCenter 스냅샷을 찍습니다. 
  4. vCenter 7.0.x 이상 버전의 경우:
    cd /usr/lib/vmware-updatemgr/bin/ 
    python 스크립트를 실행합니다.
  5. refreshCerts-utility.pyPython 스크립트 새로 고침을 보여주는 스크린샷
  6. 시작 vmware-updatemgr 서비스를 시작합니다. 
# service-control --start vmware-updatemgr
